OLR Services have just taken delivery of a custom built Asphalt Hotbox for the hire fleet
This unit has been designed with efficiency in mind:
- The heating system is a diesel burner unit, incorporating a fuel/air injection system with a digital thermostatic controller
- An power efficient hydraulic tipping system allows a gravity feed of material to the two rear chutes. The ram is dual acting incorporating safety control valves to ensure no crush risk should the hydraulics fail
- High output LED work lights assist in providing a safe working area during night works
- Amber LED Beacons fitted on all sides ensure road users are aware of the activities
